Our premier training event and the one that started it all in 2005!  Occurring annually in the spring, typically one to two weeks prior to FDIC (https://www.fdic.com/), this training is second-to-none when it comes to free, hands-on extrication training.

Kicking things off on Friday night are a few seminar-based training topics that have included new car technologies demonstrating various enhancements to vehicle construction and safety systems, unique situational awareness of various accident scenes and the challenges that the responding first due crews encountered.

Saturday is the day that everyone waits for all year.  Students get to learn new extrication techniques or hone their existing knowledge with instructors from all over the United States and sometimes the world, utilizing the latest and greatest extrication tools from the industries top manufacturers. The track is divided into two main categories; Basic and Advanced.  The basic stations teach the fundamental techniques that every firefighter, no matter the years of service or rank, must master to be an asset on an accident scene.  The advanced track takes those fundamental skills to new levels and incorporates additional techniques that are invaluable for those unique one-of-a-kind accident scenes.  Throughout the training students are encouraged to get their hands on the tools and be as involved as they want, interact with the instructors and team-up with their fellow brothers and sisters to take away as much knowledge and skill as possible to share with their departments back home.
